1. It’s a nice day. Your other half asks you to do a little shopping at the store that is only a kilometre away. How will you get there?

a) I will walk
b) I will take a bike
c) I will jog
d) I will take the car
e) I will get someone else to do it
f) I’ll tell my other half to go and do the shopping

 

TEACHER'S NOTES: Ask: How often do you do the shopping, and where do you go? Do you have any other transport besides the car? Are there many shops that are less than a kilometre from where you live? Can the weather make a difference as to how you would go to a shop that is close?
